Nick Ruitenbeek BA DC – Chiropractor

Nick Ruitenbeek

Nick graduated from Western University with a B.A. honours specialization in Kinesiology and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from DYouville College in Buffalo, New York.

Nick recognizes the importance of continuing education and is certified in ART and Cox flexion-distraction technic (a low velocity, gentle approach aimed at decreasing intervertebral disc space pressure and relieving pressure on spinal nerve roots, allowing the nervous system to function properly). He also performs instrument assisted soft tissue release, and has his level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute in golf swing analysis, biomechanics, and treatment oriented towards improving swing patterns and helping golfers of all skill levels get the most out of their game.

Growing up, he played a variety of sports ranging from hockey and football to golfing and swimming. Now when not in the clinic, he can be found working on his golf game, biking along the canal, kayaking, or hiking through Gatineau park.

Nick recognizes the importance of a multidisciplinary and patient-centred approach to health care and is excited to be part of such a pro-active and integrative team of health professionals at OC3.
