 Success Story
I must admit, I first visited Dr. Wilson with some skepticism.  I was referred to him by my family physician for a shoulder problem that I had been dealing with for quite some time.  I had been to physiotherapy (47 appointments), acupuncture (10 appointments), and two other chiropractors (8-12 visits each) within the previous two years.  Although my shoulder had improved slightly following each visit, the problem seemed to keep returning.  When I first met with Dr. Wilson, my shoulder was to the point where my sleep was being affected and I was no longer able to enjoy playing the sports I loved without a constant nagging pain.
Dr. Wilson first went through an exam with me and looked at not only my shoulder, but also my elbow, wrist, neck and upper back. He told me on the next visit that it would take between 6 and 10 visits to get my shoulder back to normal.
Apparently my problem was due to a build up of scar tissue from an old injury which was causing my entire upper arm and back not to move properly. Dr. Wilson worked through the muscles and tissues on each visit breaking up the scar tissue. By the 6th visit I was pain free and by the 8th visit I was no longer having pain during the night and I was back playing volleyball and pitching without any problems. I was left with a set of exercises to help rebuild the affected muscles. It is now 6 months later and my shoulder is great! I would recommend Dr. Wilson to anyone who has a lingering muscle or joint problem and who thinks that they have “tried everything”.
Many thanks again!

Success Story
This letter is a simple “thank you”. At 52 years of age I have been feeling some pain and cramping in both my feet. Since you have done Active Release Therapy, frequently referred to as ART, on both my feet, I have experienced a significant reduction in the cramping. In addition, my shoulder has kept me on the anti-inflammatory drug, celebrex, for quite some time in order to tolerate the pain. Again, ART has proven to have helped in that I no longer am taking the drug and the pain is tolerable. I also believe that the chiropractic adjustments in my neck significantly reduce the tension I usually feel in my neck and shoulders. It actually feels “warm and tingly” when I leave your office and believe me, that is a nice feeling. I have also been able to increase my range of motion as a result of both chiropractic and ART. Although I still get migraine headaches, am hopeful that with time, the therapy will alleviate these. For all this, I thank you. I also want to acknowledge your approach in that you have always taken the time to explain and, on a number of occasions, I have actually felt some energy transfer during treatment (most likely coming from my reiki training). We have had some good conversations as well. It is sad that the system does not fully embrace the practice and that insurance companies will not support it as it does the drug manufacturing industry. In closing Chad, thank you for your warmth. I would not hesitate to refer you to anyone who is open to and has access to natural healing practices before accepting invasive procedures or the possibility of having to take drugs to mask pain.

Just thought that I would send of note of appreciation to Dr. Wilson and his staff.  A friend of mine told me to try out Dr. Wilson to see if he could help me with my plantar fasciitis.  I had been dealing with the problem for over 8 years.  Orthotics had always helped temporarily relieve the symptoms, but as soon as I stepped out of them, my feet would be sore again.  Dr. Wilson explained to me that the orthotics were helping prevent any future damage to the muscles on the bottom of my feet, but that the already existing damage needed to be corrected.  He gave me some daily exercises and stretches to do on my own, and I saw him for 6 ART treatments.  He worked through the muscles on the bottom of my feet and up the back of my leg.  Within four weeks I was symptom free.  I now know who to see if I have any future muscle or joint problems; my trusted friends at OC3.  Thank you so much Chad!

I was first referred to Dr. Chad Wilson by my family physician.  I had a condition called Dupuytren's contracture and I was scheduled to see a surgeon in two months time.  My doctor told me to try a series of Dr. Wilson's treatments prior to this appointment with the surgeon.  The nodule in my hand started to shrink and the tightness in my hand decreased even after the first treatment.  It took about ten treatments over the following month and a half for all of my symptoms to disappear.  I was able to cancel the appointment with the surgeon and I returned back to playing hockey and gripping my steering wheel with no discomfort.  The Active Release treatments sure did the trick!!

Thank you again!

I have taken 2 upper extremity and 2 spine ART courses. Since then, I’ve treated 15 NFL players from 4 different teams and approximately 20 international track athletes from 8 different countries. My success rate and proficiency improves dramatically with every repeat course I take. ART has had the most dramatic effect on my practice, by far, when compared to any other post graduate course I have taken.

After treating patients for 14 years, I thought I was successfully helping patients improve their health. I was amazed how much more effective I was at getting patients better, faster, with PERMANENT changes after learning the ART Spine Protocols. That was the answer to offering complete treatment. The course paid for itself in the first three weeks after the seminar. It is so easy to get referrals from other patients, coaches, and the medical community when you can help most patients feel better in just a few treatments.

The Active Release Techniques System is the most advanced soft-tissue treatment for the nineties. It’s accurate, effective, and reproducible. It has significantly improved my soft-tissue results. The procession owes Mike Leahy a debt of gratitude.

Since taking ART, I have been able to treat certain spine, extremity, and nerve entrapment conditions more quickly and effectively. I try to let my hand do the talking. ART speaks volumes. It’s as simple as this: ART has made me a better chiropractor!

At first, I was skeptical about ART, but I decided to go to the seminar with an open mind. It has taken my practice to another level. As a direct result of taking this course: I have maintained my position as the team chiropractor for the Carolina Hurricanes, I have spoken at several conferences, and I have had numerous referrals from M.D’s in the area. I have seen patients who have literally tried everything else and their results with ART are extremely impressive. There is no question or doubt in my mind that the ART Spine Seminar will be the best investment you can imagine.
